4th of July in Estes

Estes Park is an ideal destination year-round, so it’s no surprise that this is a great family destination for Fourth of July celebrations. In addition to one of the most spectacular fireworks displays in the state (always held on July 4), this beautiful mountain town not only offers a high variety of outdoor recreation, but also a number of  family-friendly festivities and events for their 4th of July celebration, and of course, who can forget their amazing display of fireworks to end the night.

On Wednesday, July 4th, start your day off by taking the family down to check out an Estes Park tradition, the 20th Annual Coolest Car Show. 100s of vehicles will be out on display, including the famous “Steam -to-Electric”. The event will go from 9:30 am until 3:30 pm, and will take place at the Estes Park Events Complex, located at the Fairgrounds at Stanley Park. In addition to the large variety of cars on display, the event will also have a kids craft corner, silent auction, photo booth, beer, food trucks, as well as music and entertainment.
If you want a day filled with music, make sure to head over to Barlow Plaza at 5:30 pm  for a performance by Brandon Sipes, then mosey on over to Concert Performance Park to catch the Village Band Patriotic Concert at 7 p.m.
As the perfect wrap up to the night, make sure you catch the grand finale! The town of Estes Park will be displaying their annual Fireworks Show over Lake Estes, starting at 9:30 pm. Make sure to go early and find a great viewing spot from Lake Estes Trail or Stanley Park!
