WPR is one of the oldest operating ski resorts in the state and summertime turns the renowned snowy slopes to miles of green resplendent with wildflowers. Scenery aside, mountains of fun abound for every member of the family.

Hiking, Biking & Dining
For adrenaline junkies the downhill Trestle Bike park offers miles of features from tables and rails to log jumps. Colorado’s longest alpine slide, similar to a bobsled ride, has 3,000 vertical feet of fun that takes you back to the base village. New this year, the Green Horn-it! Bike park is perfect for beginners wanting to hone their skill for Trestle – kid appropriate.
The Ute trail is a beautiful, albeit steep, hike that makes a winding climb to the top where you can find refreshments and snacks at the Mercantile at Sunspot. Hike back down for a quad burner or purchase a ticket for the Zephyr Express chairlift and take in the views on your return.
Get a Deal on Activities!
If you think you are going to want to do all of the activities more than once – and most people want to do the alpine slide a lot! – purchase the All Day Adventure Pass, starting at $47 for pre-booking online or $79 at the window.
For the best deal, the Winter Park Visitor Center in downtown Winter Park (on the corner of U.S. Hwy 40 and Rendezvous Road, across from McDonald’s) sells them for $10 less than the Resort. The five minute detour to check out the charming town of Winter Park is worth it!
Get on up here and Play! Once open, the summer season fun will last until September 25th, 2016.Tags: What to Do
